A Note from the Editor:

       Ten years ago, when I was 14 years old, the Lord gave me a burden to publish a magazine specifically designed to encourage, strengthen, and challenge young ladies in their walk with the Lord. Although it wasn't until October, 2002 that He opened all the doors for the publishing of the first issue, until then, the desire continued to grow stronger and the vision clearer.

       I wanted to publish a magazine that held to fundamental, Baptist doctrines. I wanted it to have a combination of the older ladies teaching the younger and girls sharing with each other what God is teaching them and how He is working in their lives. I wanted it to draw the hearts of girls closer to the Lord, their families, and their church.

       From the notes and direct comments I have received, I can see that God has graciously allowed these desires to be realized through Stepping in the Light.

       Our final issue of publication was the August/September '08 issue. We do still have some back issues available for purchase. May these be a blessing, help, and an encouragement to you as you walk in the light as He is in the light.
